Date: 2023.3.27 ~ 2023.3.30 Location: Leeds, England Website: http://www.esr-group.org/conferences/2023-conference-leeds/ The 56th Annual International Meeting of the Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC ESR Group) will be held 27th to 30th March 2023 in Leeds, England. RSC ESR Group The ESR Group was founded in 1968 as a forum within the Chemical Society for scientists to share, disseminate and promote knowledge about electron spin resonance. In 1980 the Chemical Society and the Royal Institute of Chemistry, together with the Faraday Society and the Society for Analytical Chemistry were amalgamated to become the Royal Society of Chemistry, so that it became a special interest group of the RSC. They are also affiliated to the European Federation of EPR Groups. The main aim of the RSC ESR Group is to promote innovation, share and advance knowledge, and to encourage applications of electron spin resonance in chemistry, as well as in physical and biological sciences and their applications. These aims are achieved with the aid of an annual international meeting, often followed by publication of proceedings in peer-reviewed international journals. CIQTEK Booth at RSC ESR Leeds Meeting 2023 CIQTEK will be hosted by our UK distributor SciMed. SciMed will offer UK based sales and service support for the range of EPR spectroscopy and work closely with the CIQTEK team to offer outstanding support to UK users. See U in Leeds! View MoreCIQTEK is happy to sponsor the 12th Asia-Pacific EPR/ESR Symposium (APES 2022) in Hangzhou, China during November 4-7, 2022. The symposium this year is an online event for international speakers and participants, a new start for Asia-Pacific EPR/ESR Society in the post-epidemic era.The main aims of APES 2022 are to bring together EPR/ESR spectroscopists and to promote and facilitate collaboration among the EPR/ESR community. APES 2022 is intended to stimulate discussions on the forefront of research in all aspects of EPR/ESR ranging from theoretical and experimental advances in CW/Pulsed EPR, high frequency, and high field EPR, ENDOR, PEDLOR/DEER, time-resolved EPR, FMR, MRI, ODMR to applications in medicine, biology, chemistry, materials science and nanotechnology. CIQTEK Moments at APES 2022Moment 1: On November 4th, CIQTEK had a presentation entitled "Introduction to EPR spectrometers of CIQTEK" by Dr. Zhifu Shi, Technical Director of EPR, CIQTEK.Moment 2: On November 6th, Dr. Haijun Yang, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, made a speech entitled "Construction and Applications of EPR at 6 K Ultra-low Temperature". In his speech, Dr. Yang mentioned that his team made research progress based on the CIQTEK X-band EPR spectrometer EPR100.Abstract of the Presentation:There were four main advantages of cryogenic technology in EPR research: (1) Improve the sensitivity of the spectrometer; (2) Increase the sample stability; (3) Weaken the effect of polar solvents on solution samples, and (4) Extend T1 and T2 relaxation for the better detection of spin echoes. Currently, the ultra-low temperature EPR is commonly performed by a liquid helium cooling system. Due to issues such as rising gas prices, cryogenic systems were expensive and difficult to run continuously for a long time. In collaboration with CIQTEK, a dry temperature-variable unit was constructed successfully with helium as the circulating gas. On the CIQTEK X-band EPR spectrometer (EPR100), this temperature-variable unit achieved a wide temperature range of 6 K to 300 K and afforded a long continuous operation time of more than 200 hours. The cost is less than five percent of the liquid helium cooling system. For the coal sample tested by the CW EPR, the double integration area of the EPR signal acquired at 6 K was nearly 42 times larger than that at 293 K. In addition, the following two applications have been proposed for the dry 6 K ultra-low temperature EPR technology. (1) For the diradicals, how to test the spin state from singlet and triplet? And how to calculate the energy gap of singlet−triplet (ΔEST)? (2) How to study the structure of Cu2+ complexes in solution using electron spin echo envelope modulation (ESEEM) pulse experiments? This novel dry temperature-variable unit prevents the consumption of helium due to closed circulation, saving the noble helium and reducing the cost of the EPR spectrometer’s operation, which propels researc...

View MoreOn September 20, the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Manufacturing Convention was held in Hefei, China. At the opening ceremony, CIQTEK's self-developed Widefield NV Microscope was released to world, which is an advanced commercial precision measurement instrument based on diamond NV center technology. It has a wide application field in semiconductors, material science, geological science, cell magnetism, in vitro diagnostics, etc. Conference Opening of World Manufacturing Congress 2022 Dr. He, Chairman of CIQTEK, introduced products to the visitors CIQTEK Widefield NV Microscope is a magnetic microscope based on precision measurement technology. During the measurement process, the sample to be measured is pressed against the surface of the sensor, and the state is read out and manipulated by using the laser and microwave, which can realize quantitative and non-destructive microscopic magnetic imaging. It has the advantages of high spatial resolution, high sensitivity, non-invasive, large field of view, and fast imaging speed. CIQTEK Widefield NV Microscope A wide range of application fields - to help the development of advanced manufacturing CIQTEK Widefield NV Microscope has a broad application in the field of advanced manufacturing. In the semiconductor industry, with the continuous breakthrough of advanced semiconductor process technology, the chip signal detection technology is difficult to adapt to the current low-current, densely arranged chip architecture, and the high-quality development of the chip industry has encountered serious challenges. The advantages of high resolution, high sensitivity, non-invasive, and low interference to near field of the Widefield NV Microscope, on the other hand, can meet the demand for functional inspection and failure analysis of chips. Precision measurement technology based on NV center in diamonds In the field of life science, it is difficult to explore the interaction of biological single molecules in high throughput by traditional means, and targeted drug development and disease diagnosis and treatment lack accurate single-molecule information support. CIQTEK Widefield NV Microscope can achieve high sensitivity, low background, high stability, and nondestructive detection of biomolecular interactions, and the detection sensitivity can reach a single molecule level, which largely makes up for the existing low abundance. It provides powerful technology for the study of biomolecular interactions and related high-sensitivity biomedical assays. In addition, CIQTEK Widefield NV Microscope's ultra-high detection accuracy will help us explore more unknowns, help semiconductors, materials science, geological science, cell magnetism, in vitro diagnostics, and other fields of change development, to create a better future for mankind!
