CIQTEK is pleased to sponsor the fourth CNRS thematic school 2022 of the Magnetism and Magnetic Resonances from the Physical Chemistry Division (DCP) of the French Chemical Society (SCF) in Toulouse, France.
The program includes Magnetometry, NMR, EPR (ESR) and Mossbauer spectroscopies from basic to advanced concepts and techniques. All lectures will be given during 4 half-days and 1 full day will be dedicated to practical sessions combined to spectral analyses and tutorials.
The MRM group (Magnetism and Magnetic Resonance), founded in 2014, aims to promote exchanges between structured communities using magnetic resonances (IR-CNRS: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) & Electronic Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR), Association of Magnetism Molecular, and the French-speaking Mössbauer spectroscopy group). The purpose of this group is to structure the know-how and skills related to magnetic resonance spectroscopies and to bring together users from different organizations.

CIQTEK EPR (ESR) Spectroscopy
As an important branch of wave spectroscopy and a direct characterization tool for electron spins, paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy plays an irreplaceable and important role and has great application value in research fields such as physics, chemistry, material science, life science, medicine, and environmental science. Originating from the Key Laboratory of Microscopic Magnetic Resonance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at the University of Science and Technology of China, CIQTEK has been deeply engaged in the field of high-end scientific instruments such as electronic paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy for more than ten years, and has now launched a comprehensive X-band series for commercial use, and has successfully advanced to W-band high-frequency EPR (ESR) spectroscopy.
EPR (ESR) spectroscopy is a method to study the structure, dynamics, and spatial distribution of unpaired electronics. It can provide in-situ and non-destructive information on electron spins, orbitals, and nuclei at the microscopic scale. EPR spectrometers are particularly useful for studying metal complexes or organic radicals.
